So beginning here you will see all of the very original Blue Sky pages that I discarded. After looking at them twice I realized I could do much better if I just spent a decent amount of time on them. These pages are not cleaned up or inked and the only altering I've done to the scan is darkening it so it will show up better.

There are plenty of problems with this page, but I think what really stuck out for me was the close-up of Sayuri and the last panel that is lacking any decent detail at all. I had a clear idea of what I wanted to do but my execution was horrible.

Whenever I have doubts about my progress I just compare these pages to the ones I went with and I see how much I changed over the course of just a couple of months with some effort.
